who let this guy cook 🤣 -burnside hit a little different yesterday 💥 it's a loud sound environment to try to introduce healing sound instruments but many of us who have spent most of our lives down there have a certain intrinsic connection of comfort to this sound environment so surrendering to that allowed for the addition of these sounds to flow as complementary embellishments our sister chloe once said growing up down there the hump bump (where she was laying) was always her safe place.. thank you so much for the gift of your amazing artwork as a craft currency energetic trade 🙏 sitting there in the stillness feeling in to the energy of 32+ years of people skating every day invoked so many different timeline experiences.. laying on our backs on that sacred cement not from a slam but specifically tuning in & weaving the sound energy experience together was super powerful 💥 made me think about the homeless years sleeping there back in the day.. a young skater who lives there now woke up to us setting up & ended up participating ✨ this was also the place where I had the death experience that was my awakening almost exactly 20 years ago it was at that time when the gift of sound medicine was divinely given to me as a personal healing path.. been passionately studying & practicing this amazing ancient healing art ever since & so stoked to come back & offer in service 🙏 after reflecting with @pushmovement fam about this event, it feels only right to start offering this sound medi Self care for anyone willing to gift & dedicate the time to their Self as a regular rotation every Thursday at 8AM as a donation or free popup thing randomly at various locations including skate parks, public parks, nature destinations, healing spaces, community spaces, community centers ect for next week we're looking into Sellwood Park -going to go scope for the right spot & will have more details soon! thank you everybody who rolled through! see you at the next one! you don't have to ride a skateboard to participate all are welcome! gratitude @filmingonhardwheels for filming
