Paramhansa Yogananda came to the west just as World War I ended & wrote his Autobiography of a Yogi during world war 2 .. he brought the teachings of Self Realization & the art of Kriya Yoga meditation so people would have “bomb shelters” during such outwardly horrifying times . . as our world again becomes increasingly tumultuous, it is wise to remember our truest security & experience of peace can only be found inwardly in the sanctuary of inner communion with our One Creator .. .wars are brought about not by fateful divine action but by widespread material selfishness . . banish selfishness -individual..industrial..political..national & their we be no more wars .. as Christ said "Be still and know” . ..
